The Virginia Book Festival

With Good Reason brings you highlights from the 2011 Virginia Festival of the Book.  Producer Thomas Pierce interviews Scott Simon – host of NPR’s Weekend Edition Saturday – about his newest book, Baby, We Were Meant For Each Other.  It shares the story of how he and his wife found true love by adopting two tiny strangers from the other side of the world.  Also featured: “Imagine Ireland”,  a program held at the Virginia Festival of the Book,  is part of  a yearlong celebration of Irish and Irish American culture and literature with events in 40 states. Participating in the Book Festival’s event was Irish author and poet, Kevin Holohan, who read from his first novel The Brothers’ Lot.
