Furious Flower – feature

Poetry teachers from around the country gathered recently in Harrisonburg for the Furious Flower Poetry Conference at James Madison University. They came to learn from Lucille Clifton, former Poet Laureate of Maryland, whose poetic explorations of race, womanhood and spirituality earned two nominations for the Pulitzer Prize.
