The Virginia General Assembly this week granted state recognition to an Indian tribe based in Stafford County. Sarah McConnell, of the radio program With Good Reason, reports it’s another victory for Virginia Indians, who are still trying to overcome the damaging effects of a 1924 state law that stripped them of their identity:
