The last ten years has seen tremendous growth of Latino populations throughout the country. Silvia Tandeciarz and Jennifer Bickham Mendez (The College of William and Mary) discuss the challenges Latinos face as they integrate into new communities, and the ways in which they are influencing our culture.
Also: Richard J. Kilroy (Virginia Military Institute) says in the post 9-11 world, America’s border security perimeter has grown both north and south; creating a need for tri-lateral agreements with Canada and Mexico.

I quite enjoyed the comments by Richard Kilroy and would enjoy hearing more on the subject of security and relations between our three nations considering the climate of today’s world, for it is increasingly relevant to how we will act politically and socially in the future.
